JOB POSITION: Security Architect ? Cloud Computing

JOB LOCATION: Greenville, SC

JOB SUMMARY: The Infor Cloud Services Team is seeking a talented, multi-faceted, junior Security Architect to assist in designing and maintaining an ISO 27001 compliant cloud computing environment. This individual will be part of a team that is responsible for ensuring the protection and security of all information systems, infrastructure, and applications in a complex, global 24x7 production environment for Infor?s Cloud and SaaS offerings. This person will report to the Senior Director of Cloud Security and will be involved in all aspects of IT security within the business including managing remote access, monitoring security system alerts, and mitigating or responding to threats as outlined in security policies within the organization while assisting in driving the Information Security Management System to ISO 27001 certification.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists in enhancing security and privacy policies, standards and guidelines in order to protect the informational assets of both the company and their customers.
• Assist in implementing designated managerial processes, procedures, and controls to effectively run a distributed, enterprise IT Security Team.
• Responsible for staying current and understanding, communicating, and creating cost/benefit justification for new IT Security technologies that are relevant and needed by the business.
• Be available on an on-call basis to handle security breaches and to monitor incident tracing and investigation of any security breaches.
• Participating in regular internal security audits and provides oversight for teams of outside consultants for independent security audits, as well as to drive IT compliance.
• Assists the Senior Director of Cloud Security in establishing and maintaining industry best practices related to security and architectural design for meeting business and regulatory requirements.
• Reviews the security and controls of new and existing internally developed and purchased application software.
• Answers security-related control questions from current and potential customers
• Other responsibilities could include maintaining an appropriate and professional work area, working with vendors regarding supplied products, assist with the generation of documentation for processes and procedures, and other duties as the business requires.
• Travel Requirements: up to 10%

Job Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• ? B.S. Degree in computer science, engineering, business or finance is preferred or equivalent experience
• ? Professional certifications with CISSP, CISA OR GIAC strongly desired

• Experience with IT security administration and auditing to encompass various technologies and applications but specific focus on the following desired: ISO/IEC 27001:2005, PCI, SSAE 16 security requirements and audits

Required Skills:

• ? Ability to influence and develop strong relationships with cross functional teams necessary for successful adoption of organizational Information Security requirements

• Knowledge and experience of current trends in IT security for firewall configuration and management, network intrusion detection, penetration testing, vulnerability analysis and incident investigation and strategies to implement best practices into a global environment.
• Ability to work with independently with minimal supervision and as a team player

preferred skills & KNOWLEDGE:

• ? Experience with IT security administration and auditing to encompass Firewall, Cisco routers and switches, Active Directory, UNIX/Linux/TCP/IP preferred
• ? Competent user of Microsoft Office applications
• ? Strong verbal and written communications skills
• ? Excellent problem solving skills
