3 Good Reasons to Use Article Marketing | Everything You Need To ...

If you?ve been searching for benefits of article marketing, then you?ve reached the right place. The following are the benefits you can get out of using article marketing.

The first and the foremost benefit of article marketing is that you only get those visitors to your site who are actually interested in your product. That highly targeted traffic you receive won?t cost you a cent. When you compare article marketing to PPC advertising, the kind of leads you get from both are similar but with article marketing, you don?t have to pay anything. Of course there is effort involved in getting your article marketing off the ground, but the exposure and results you will receive are worth the effort. When you?re writing your articles, keep them focused and to the point for the best response. Try not to deviate from your primary topic, as you want to appeal to your prospects directly. But overall, article marketing definitely beats other free online marketing methods when it comes to quality.

Most Internet marketers have an understanding of the value the traffic received from search engines can be. Optimizing your site to appeal to the search engines involves developing a strong back-linking strategy. Your rankings in the search engines will be dependent on the quality and quantity of backlinks you have. Article marketing gives you a great way to build plenty of back-links that point to your sites. When you submit articles to various article directories, you are building more backlinks to your site, which assists your SEO strategy. You can benefit from receiving direct traffic from the articles, as well as improving your site?s search engine rankings. It?s a win-win situation. Your articles will be still on those article directories for years to come. The backlinks you have on those articles are going to be pointed towards your site for years.

As you begin submitting more articles within your niche, you?ll be establishing your expertise. Your readers will have confidence in the information given in your articles as you become branded as someone who knows the topic well. The traffic you receive from your articles can often be dependent on the options you use for distributing them. When your target audience starts to view you as an authority in your field, they can actually begin helping with your article distribution by sharing them. Being seen as an expert brings plenty of other benefits too. Some people may subscribe to your articles to learn more from you as you post more, wile others will feel more comfortable buying from you. You can build a following or even use this to create a mailing list.

In conclusion, article marketing is a simple but very effective method to send traffic to your website. But keep in mind that it?s not easy, since it does require you to put in the effort to see results.

The methods involving mobile money blueprint review we have just talked about are proven to bring the results you need to add positive growth to your business.

Gazans prepare to welcome Qatari ruler

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) ? Qatar's flags are flapping in the Gaza Strip as Palestinians welcome that country's ruler, the first head of state to visit the territory since the Islamic militant Hamas seized power there five years ago.

An honor guard awaits Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani at Gaza's southern border crossing, where he is set to enter from Egypt Tuesday morning. A song called "Thank you, Qatar" is playing on the radio.

Issam Da'aless, an adviser to Gaza's Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh, says the emir will travel with his wife and Crown Prince Tamim bin Hamad. Thousands of troops have been mobilized to secure the visit.

The emir will deliver more than $250 million in aid to the territory, a move that will ease Hamas' international isolation.

Court blocks Ind. defunding of Planned Parenthood

(AP) ? Indiana can't block Medicaid funds for Planned Parenthood just because the organization provides abortions, a federal appeals court ruled Tuesday, upholding the crux of a lower court order that said the state couldn't deny patients the right to choose their own health care provider.

The ruling will likely have little impact on Planned Parenthood's operations in Indiana as funding to its clinics has been largely uninterrupted since Republican Gov. Mitch Daniels signed a law attempting to cut the organization off in May 2011.

That law made Indiana the first state to deny the Planned Parenthood Medicaid funds for general health services including cancer screenings. The organization immediately challenged the law with help from the American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana. District Judge Tanya Walton Pratt blocked the state from enforcing the law in June 2011.

The state appealed that order, arguing that federal law says Medicaid cannot be used to cover abortions in most circumstances and that the program indirectly funds the procedures by providing money for Planned Parenthood.

On Tuesday, the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago upheld the core portion of Pratt's order, saying the Indiana law effectively stamps on a person's right to choose their doctors.

"The defunding law excludes Planned Parenthood from Medicaid for a reason unrelated to its fitness to provide medical services, violating its patients' statutory right to obtain medical care from the qualified provider of their choice," the ruling said.

Bryan Corbin, a spokesman for the Indiana attorney general's office, said the state was reviewing the appeals court opinion. The state can either ask the full court to review the panel's ruling or appeal directly to the Supreme Court. The governor's office did not return phone calls Tuesday morning seeking comment.

The ACLU said the appeals court decision was a victory, above all, for women.

"This law was an attempt by politicians to punish organizations that are providing legal services," Talcott Camp, deputy director of the ACLU Reproductive Freedom Project, said in a news release. "Elected officials should not place politics above women's health."

The appeals court also said Pratt needed to modify other sections of her order that ACLU attorney Ken Falk said dealt with revenue sources other than Medicaid.

Nelly 'Hurt,' Baffled By Tour Bus Raid In Texas

NEW YORK ? For the majority of his recording career Nelly has kept things clean, and that's the way the St. Louis rap star intends to keep it.

Things got sketchy for the "Hot in Herre" spitter on October 11 when law enforcement officials in Texas pulled over his tour bus and uncovered heroin, over 10 pounds of marijuana and a loaded .45 caliber handgun. A member of Nelly's crew, Brian Keith, was arrested and Nelly ? who has not been charged with a crime in connection to the bus raid ? quickly released a statement distancing himself from the drama.

But weeks later, Nelly is still bothered by the situation.

"I think it's always alarming. I think in this case it's really alarming when you find yourself in a situation that you didn't put yourself in," he told MTV News on Tuesday (October 23). "That's the only thing that I think is baffling, and I think that's the part that hurts the most."

Even though the dirty version of Nelly's first single, 2000's "Country Grammar," contained veiled references to street-sweepers and drive-by shootings, the truth is the multiplatinum rap talent has gone to great lengths to keep a polished image and, for the most part, he has succeeded.

"It is my understanding a member of my staff made an unfortunate decision to bring unlawful materials onto our tour bus that resulted in his arrest this morning, October 11th," Nelly said in a statement, addressing the bust earlier this month. "Neither I nor anyone else on the tour bus was aware of his decision to bring these on board. Law enforcement officials in Sierra Blanca, Texas did not press charges against anyone other than that individual."

The music star has a new mixtape and album on the horizon and he looks to continue building his brand. "For 14 years, I made my perception what I wanted to make my perception and now my perception may be slightly changed," he said of the possible fallout. "Not because of what I did, but because of what someone else did and I think that's the part that hurts you the most.

"If I'mma put a dent in anything that I do, then let me be the one to put that dent in it," he continued. "I think that's the only part that gets me."

No matter the circumstances, though, Nelly still views Keith as family. "It is a sensitive situation because, be that as it may, that's like family to me and sometimes family are the ones that hurt you the worse. But at the end of the day, they still are family," he said. "For a long time someone protected my life with their life, and be that as it may, I can't overlook that."

    "Spider-Man" co-writer has book deal

NEW YORK (AP) ? The "Spider-Man" saga is going from the stage to the page.

Glen Berger, co-writer of the disaster-prone "Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark," is working on a book. "Song of Spider-Man: The Inside Story of the Most Controversial Musical in Broadway History," will come out next year, Simon & Schuster announced Tuesday. Simon & Schuster publisher Jonathan Karp said the book would be, "entomologically speaking," the "ultimate fly-on-the-wall account" of how a musical is made.

The big budget production became notorious for a series of stunt accidents during previews. The show was eventually revamped and the original director, Julie Taymor, was fired. Taymor later sued the producers, who countersued. A tentative settlement was reached over the summer.

AIT's legal status could be a problem - The Nation

    Education

    CHULEEPORN ARAMNET
    THE NATION October 19, 2012 1:00 am

The students lodged a complaint on Wednesday with the Education Ministry, the Foreign Ministry and AIT president Prof Said Irandoust over concerns that the Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC) would not certify their degrees. Their concerns stem from the fact that AIT issued a new charter in January, and the government has not yet ratified it.

"If the current students' degrees are bestowed under the 1967 charter of AIT ratified by the Thai government, then the degrees will be legal. However, if their degrees are bestowed under the new charter, they will be illegal as the government has not yet ratified it," said Assoc Prof Kamjorn Tatiyakavee, deputy secretary-general of the Office of the Higher Education Commission (OHEC).

"I'm not worried about students already studying at AIT as much as I am about the new ones who will enrol at AIT. If AIT insists that it will administer [its education programme] under an unratified charter, the new students who study and graduate under the new charter will have a problem with degree certification. Also, AIT itself will become an illegal institution under Thai law," Kamjorn said.

He said OHEC planned to discuss the problem soon with AIT, the Foreign Ministry and other agencies. He wanted AIT and the Foreign Ministry to solve the problem quickly, before more problems arise.

Meanwhile, Bhawat Traipattanakul, a master's student in energy engineering who represented AIT's students in lodging Wednesday's complaint, said they would continue to raise the issue until a solution is found, and would not simply wait for the president to take action.

Juliet Azarani, a third-year student from Lake Dallas; and Luke Calhoun, a second-year student from Lufkin, comprised the winning team that narrowly defeated classmates Jessica Haseltine, a third-year student from Abilene, and Sara Norman, a second-year student from Midland, in the championship round. The teams were coached by Professors Nancy Soonpaa and Wendy Adele Humphrey. The win grows the law school?s count of state, national and international championships to 29.

The competition, hosted by Southwestern University School of Law, featured 24 teams from across the nation and focused on the resolution of legal disputes in the entertainment industry. Both Tech Law teams received perfect scores in the tournament?s preliminary rounds before facing each other in the final.

?To have both our teams in the final round of a national competition and take the top two spots is simply astounding,? said Rob Sherwin, director of advocacy programs. ?It?s just disappointing both teams couldn?t be crowned national champions, because all four students deserved it.?

Sherwin said the teams? performance was a combination of talent and preparation.

?We know our students are as gifted as any across the country, but you don?t win these competitions without a ton of hard work,? he said. ?The teams and Professors Soonpaa and Humphrey worked so hard over the past month to bring this championship back to Lubbock, and we couldn?t be more proud.?

(AP) ? World stock markets were lifted Tuesday by better data on the U.S. economy and a report showing improving investor confidence in Germany.

In early European trading, Germany's DAX rose 0.6 percent to 7,308.01 and France's CAC 40 gained 0.5 percent to 3,426.48. The FTSE 100 index of leading British companies rose 0.4 percent to 5,831.41.

U.S. stocks were poised to rise. Dow futures edged up 0.1 percent to 13,371. Broader S&P 500 futures added 0.1 percent to 1,437.10.

Stocks rose as Germany's closely watched ZEW monthly investor confidence index rose for the second straight month.

Investors were already encouraged by a U.S. Commerce Department report that showed retail sales rose 1.1 percent in September. August's number was also revised slightly higher to 1.2 percent. The two figures were the biggest since October 2010.

The numbers added to optimism about an economic recovery in the world's biggest economy and helped push up shares of Asia's powerhouse manufacturers, many of which rely on sales to the U.S.

Asian stocks closed higher. Japan's Nikkei 225 index rose 1.4 percent to end at 8,701.31 and South Korea's Kospi climbed 0.8 percent to 1,941.54.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 0.3 percent to 21,207.07. Australia's S&P/ASX 200 gained 0.2 percent to 4,491.50. Benchmarks in Taiwan, Singapore, and New Zealand also rose.

Toshiba Corp. jumped 3.8 percent and Sony Corp. rose 2.4 percent in Tokyo, where exporters were also aided by a slightly weaker yen. In Seoul, Samsung Electronics Co. rose 2.3 percent while automaker Hyundai Motor Co. rose 0.9 percent and its affiliate Kia Motors Corp. jumped 1.4 percent.

The U.S. data, combined with China trade data released on Saturday that showed exports from the world's second-biggest economy rose a relatively robust 9.9 percent, are signs that "economic activities are picking up," said Jackson Wong, a vice president at Tanrich Securities.

"Export-oriented companies would benefit" from stronger U.S. retail sales, he said.

Japan's Softbank Corp. rose 9.6 percent a day after the company, which has investments in Internet and telecom businesses, announced it's buying a controlling stake in Sprint Nextel Corp., the No. 3 U.S. cellphone company, for $20.1 billion.

Mainland China's Shanghai Composite Index ended the day almost unchanged at 2,098.81 after moving between gains and losses. The smaller Shenzhen Composite Index closed 0.3 percent higher at 862.14.

Strategists at Credit Agricole CIB said in a research note that market movements will be capped as investors hesitate ahead of a slate of Chinese economic data expected out later this week, including GDP growth, retail sales and fixed asset investment.

Guo Yanhong, an analyst at Huachuang Securities in Beijing, said the indicators out Thursday could show a further slowdown in China's economy as piecemeal stimulus policies have had limited effect. Analysts don't expect the government to announce any major growth-boosting stimulus measures until China undergoes a once-a-decade leadership transition in November.

"Investors are still expecting a rally after the economy touches bottom in the near future, but it could be difficult. The gloom might stay longer than investors expect," Guo said.

In currencies, the euro strengthened to $1.3001 from $1.2941 in late trading Monday. The dollar rose to 78.83 Japanese yen from 78.70 yen.

Oil prices crept higher. Benchmark crude for November delivery was up 2 cents to $91.87 per barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The contract finished down 1 cent at $91.85 on Monday.

Ben Affleck Turns Out Another Must-See with 'Argo' | Boston Daily

argo movie reviewPhoto by Claire Folger via Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.

This past Friday marked the release of Boston native Ben Affleck?s newest flick, Argo. The film takes place in 1979 during the Iranian Revolution, just after the overthrow of the former ruler, the Shah. In retaliation for Americans? expressed support of the Shah, Islamic militants stormed the U.S. Embassy and took several people hostage. Six, however, managed to escape and fled to the home of the Canadian ambassador Ken Taylor (Victor Garber). While many Iranians took to the streets to show support for their new Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khomeini, as well as their growing hatred for America, the CIA was brainstorming a series of ?bad ideas? on how to get the six people back home.

Affleck, who directed and stars in the film, plays Tony Mendez, a CIA specialist who comes up with a rather obscure and unfeasible idea?to make believe that these six escaped victims are a Canadian film crew, in Iran in search of an exotic location for their (fake) movie, Argo. His team, including his supervisor Jack O?Donnell (Bryan Cranston), at first dismisses the idea for being too foolish and risky, but Mendez soon convinces them otherwise. In seeking approval from the government, O?Donnell later presents it as ?the best bad idea we have.? Nonetheless, they are given the green light. After contacting Hollywood makeup artist John Chambers (John Goodman) and film producer Lester Siegel (Alan Arkin) for help, Mendez jets off to Iran to carry out his plan.

Argo succeeds in recapping an important period in American history alongside highlighting Mendez?s true mission, which, though Clinton declassified it years ago, likely remained unheard of until now. While the story in and of itself is fascinating, the film pieces it together in the most logical way. A brief synopsis of the years leading to the 1979 Iranian Revolution starts us off, and though it could have turned into an overdrawn history lesson, the backstory (as well as the rest of the film) proves engaging from the start. Almost immediately after, we are thrown in among the panicking soon-to-be American hostages. The tension is set, and from then on, you cannot look away. Hilarious one-liners provided mostly by Goodman and Arkin ease the mood at all the right moments, and the rest of the cast steals the show with exceptionally believable dramatic performances.

Our man Affleck delivers through and through, and if you have yet to rush out to see Argo, there is an endless amount of reasons to do so (Yes?it?s even worth seeing on a weeknight). While Goodman and Arkin?s characters jokingly insert the name ?Argo? into a common (and crude) expression, I will instead leave you with this: Argo-and-watch-it.

Shuttle Endeavour makes trip through Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The retired space shuttle Endeavour was greeted with a festival-like atmosphere in the Los Angeles suburb of Inglewood on Saturday, where it has paused from its snail-like crawl through narrow city streets towards its new home at a local museum.

Endeavour nosed out of Los Angeles International Airport before dawn on Friday to begin a two-day, 12-mile (19-km) journey atop a massive wheeled transporter to the California Science Center on the edge of downtown.

The shuttle, which flew from 1992 to 2011, will become a tourist attraction at the center. Endeavour was largely built in Southern California and was a workhorse of the U.S. space program, flying 25 missions.

Thousands of area residents, many of whom walked a mile or more to get to where the shuttle was parked outside an arena on Saturday morning, celebrated the icon's visit to their neighborhood with food trucks and music.

Two brothers from the area, German and Joseph Raudales, watched the shuttle with smiles on their faces.

"I'm excited, I want to be an astronaut when I grow up," said 10-year-old Joseph Raudales.

The shuttle is 122 feet long and 78 feet wide and stands 5 stories tall at the tail - which police said makes it the largest object ever to move through Los Angeles. Its combined weight with the transporter is 80 tons.

Organizers say only a few inches separate Endeavour's wings from structures along the route, and workers have felled 400 trees along curbs to clear a path. The science center will plant more than 1,000 trees to make up for their loss.

Some street lights, traffic signals, power poles and parking meters also have been temporarily removed.

    OTHER SHUTTLES FIND HOMES

The project to move Endeavour will cost over $10 million, said Shell Amega, a spokeswoman for the science center. Charitable foundations and corporations have donated money and services for the move.

The center beat out a number of other institutions when the U.S. space agency NASA chose it last year as the permanent home for Endeavour, which was taken out of service because of the end of the shuttle program.

Endeavour has hop-scotched across the country from Cape Canaveral, Florida, on the back of a modified Boeing 747. It had been parked at the airport in Los Angeles since arriving on September 21 after a ceremonial piggyback flight around California.

Endeavour was built to replace Challenger, using spare parts from two prior shuttles, according to Ken Phillips, aerospace curator at the science center. Challenger was lost in a 1986 accident that killed seven astronauts.

The shuttle will be displayed in a temporary hangar-style metal structure to protect it from the elements. In 2017, a 200-foot-tall (61-meter) structure will open in which Endeavour will stand vertically, Phillips said.

The other remaining shuttles also have found homes.

The Smithsonian in Washington has Discovery at its Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center museum in Virginia. New York City has the prototype shuttle Enterprise at its Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum. And the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral has Atlantis, which the center will move to an on-site visitors complex next month.
